Times flies when you have fun and knit :) I haven't been updating this blog much, but I was knitting!!!
So, short version is that Tournament 7 is over, and Rangers won!!!! Our 4th win. Amazing, considering that we are small team and devoted to the show that went off the air 20 years ago. All I can say is never underestimate geeks :)
And we had one member leaving because of Chuck Norris controversy - one of the challenges was to craft something based on Chuck Norris memes - if you ever played WOW, chat was full of them. Well, looks like real Chuck Norris is involved in politics and that lots of people hates him for it. Unfortunately that was not what meme was about, but some people took it WAY too seriously, and quit Nerd Wars altogether, one from our team... :( EyeAmElise adjusted her normalization formula for that but still :(
I did finish my dissertation - Philoomena cardigan for Talia Winters, but I need to add button band - task I am dreading, because it involves picking up stitches forever. I got some nice flowery white buttons from Etsy...
